When growing up I always loved goofing off and making people laugh. As a matter of fact, in high school I was voted a senior favorite as the "Most Wittiest" girl. I had always dreamed of being on stage either acting or signing, but there was one problem...I had no talent!!

I was so excited in 2004 when the Kentucky Derby Festival started a new clown training class; I knew I had to be a part of that. Being the chicken that I am I wasn't sure if I could go through with it, but I decided to put my fears aside and off to Clown College I went...and thus Sweet Petunia the clown was born.

It took a long time to find a look that matched Sweet Petunia's personality, but I finally did. After that I fell in love with sharing the art of magic and comedy with children of all ages.

 I will be learning how to do cheek art under the direction of Kathy Oros - owner of Premier Face Painting.
